The Israel Anti-Drug Authority (IADA) is collaborating with MASHAV (Israel’s Agency for International Development Cooperation) and United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) to conduct the short-term training course entitled A Comprehensive Drug Control Strategy: Israel’s Model from 23 June to 17 July 2014 at the Ofri International Training Center, Israel.
The program developed to share the Israel’s experience of demand reduction in drug control is highlighted in the program. The course aims to provide participants with in depth overview of Israel’s drug control strategy, demand reduction strategy and stress the importance of coordination between all agencies involved in the country’s drug control strategy. The program will address specific needs of the participating countries, and generate personal commitments among course participants to promote drug control efforts in their countries and communities based on the models developed in Israel.
Full scholarships will be awarded to all participants including: full board accommodation, training, workshops, professional visits, social activities and excursions, transportation and health insurance.
Eligibility Criteria –
- Participants should be professional staff working in the field of drugs (prevention, treatment, law enforcement) from developing countries around the world.
