The Coca-Cola Foundation, the philanthropic arm of The Coca-Cola Company, partners with organizations around the globe to help develop and maintain vibrant, sustainable and local communities.
There is not a budget limitation for community support applications.
Priority Areas of Funding
- Women: economic empowerment and entrepreneurship
- Water Stewardship: support initiatives that provide access to clean water and sanitation, watershed protection in water-stressed regions, the utilization of water for production and or multiple use systems that do more than provide clean drinking water, and education
- Healthy Living: support initiatives that provide access to exercise, physical activity and nutritional education programs, initiatives that motivate behavior modification, and projects that encourage lifestyle/behavioral changes
- Community Recycling: support initiatives to increase liter abatement efforts, advance recovery and reuse, increase community recycling awareness, and offers support for research and innovation.
- Education: programs that offer scholarships, school drop-out prevention projects, access to educational programming, and other educational initiatives
- Locally Designated Priorities: like critical local initiatives related to HIV/AIDS education and prevention and malaria in Africa and Latin America, youth development initiatives in Europe and diversity initiatives in the United States.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicant organization if established outside the U.S., must have governing documents that proves it is recognized as a charitable organization under the laws and provisions of the respective country’s government.
- The foundation does not give grants to individuals or religious based organizations.
Application Process
- All requests for community support in the form of grants or sponsorships for consideration by The Coca-Cola Foundation must be submitted through online application system.
- Those proposals meeting specific guidelines, and further our strategic goals and objectives, will be considered for funding.
- Applicants will receive written confirmation via email when a completed application is received.
