The Global Development Network invites young researchers (Master’s students, PhD students and young researchers on job market) to submit posters addressing the issues related to GDN Conference 2015 theme and sub-themes. Successful applicants will be invited to showcase their research outputs through a detailed poster at the poster exhibition during the conference. Selected posters will be exhibited for informal browsing with the opportunities for individual discussions and networking with poster authors. Poster exhibition will be organized on each day of the conference.
Selected poster author can request support to participate in the conference.
Eligibility Criteria
- Researchers can submit and compete for both poster and paper presentations to the conference.
- A poster can be submitted by only one individual.
- Poster can be submitted in English or French language.
- Poster should be of professional quality – both in terms of textual and visual content, readable from a distance of four feet.
- Size of the poster: 90cmsX150cms.
- Poster should be submitted in .jpeg or .pdf using Arial font, single-line spacing with one inch margins. Font size: 36-48 points heading and 30-34 points text body.
- High quality images should be used citing source if images/text/figures are borrowed.
- Poster should have a heading. The name, qualifications and affiliations of the author should be included under or next to the heading.
- Poster should include the GDN logo on the top right-hand corner.
- Poster should clearly outline the rationale of the work, a brief review of the literature, simple statement or aim (multiple aims could be numbered), methodology employed, key findings, summary and conclusion, as well as figures and graphs for easy readability.
- The author should check through the grammar, punctuations and typos in the poster.
- Posters accepted for exhibition in the conference will be notified by 16 March 2015.
