The AuthorAID small grants for 2015 seeks applications for different types of grants. Types of Grants:
- 8 travel grants ($1500 each): For researchers who have an accepted abstract or proposal to present at a conference. Deadline to apply: 22 July 2015, 10 PM GMT.
- 8 workshop grants ($2500 each): For experienced researchers or administrators who would like to organise a workshop on research writing or grant proposal writing. Deadline to apply: 29 July 2015, 10 PM GMT.
- 2 online course grants ($1500 each): For experienced researchers with exposure to online training who would like to organise an online course on research writing or grant proposal writing. Deadline to apply: 29 July 2015, 10 PM GMT.
AuthorAID is a free international research community. AuthorAID helps researchers in developing countries to publish and otherwise communicate their work. It also serves as a wider global forum to discuss and disseminate research.

Eligibility Criteria – People who are citizens of, living in, and working in one of the following developing countries are eligible to apply for an AuthorAID grant or for a place on an AuthorAID online course.
