Applications are invited for German Water Partnership Award. The award aims to foster sustainable development as well as to solve the great challenges in water management. Young water professionals for outstanding results of applied research work or practical applications in the field of sustainable water resources management in India respect are encouraged to apply. The subject of this year’s award is “Water reuse from municipal or industrial waste water”.
German Water Partnership (GWP) is a joint initiative of about 350 members from the German private and public sectors, combining commercial enterprises, government and non-government organisations, scientific institutions and water-related associations.
The three winners will receive an award certificate and a small financial contribution to their further research work. They also will be invited to present their work at the 3rd Indian-GWP Day in Kochi, on 19 October 2015.
Conditions for the application
- The applicant cannot have passed the legal age of 35 years at submission date.
- The applicant must declare that the information in the application is based on his/her own work and effort.
- The applications shall summarise results of applied research work or of practical applications in the field of reuse of municipal and industrial waste
- All submitted summaries must be written in English; applications written in other languages will not be considered
- Submitted summaries cannot exceed 6000 characters; applications exceeding this length will not be considered.
- Application cannot be password protected and must not exceed 5 Megabyte in total size.
- Application must mention the title of entry as well as name, title, mailing address, e-mail, phone number, birth date, organisation/university/research institute/company of the applicant
- Application must be sent as PDF; no other formats will be accepted.
How to Apply
All applications have to be sent electronically to GWP via e-mail. The applications will be reviewed by a jury of German and Indian water experts. The winners will be announced on 21 September 2015.
