Joint India Program
The Joint India Program by Oak Foundation is to improve the lives of the most marginalized and vulnerable groups in West Bengal and Jharkhand in east India.
Foundation’s aim is to protect the rights of equality, non-discrimination and the full implementation of social and economic schemes in order to improve the lives of the most marginalised and vulnerable groups. Foundation also aim to: promote urban and state planning with a focus on affordable housing, employment/income opportunities, energy and transport policies; and strengthen civil society movements to empower women, children and other vulnerable populations to secure positions of influence.
Eligibility Criteria
Oak Foundation funds organizations that operate in West Bengal and Jharkhand in east India.
How to submit Letter of Inquiry?
Organizations who are interested in seeking a grant are advised to write a concept note of no more than 2 (two) pages in length. Please ensure that the concept note includes the following information:
- A summary of the goals and budget of your organization
- A description of the duration, goals and activities of the project for which you seek funding
- Location of the project and description of the target population
- Amount of the grant requested and total cost of the project
- Actual or potential co-funders.
