Housing and Homelessness Programme of Oak Foundation works to prevent homelessness and social and economic marginalization. The foundation prevents homelessness by funding sustainable solutions that improve the economic and social wellbeing of marginalised youth, adults and families.
The Housing and Homelessness Programme targets the most vulnerable groups, promotes long-term outcomes and adheres to Oak Foundation’s overall principles.
Following are the priorities of Housing and Homelessness Programme:
- To increase economic self-sufficiency
- To improve the supply of low-income housing and housing opportunity
- To prevent homelessness
Eligible Countries
- Boston, New York and Philadelphia in the United States;
- London, Belfast, South Wales, Glasgow and Birmingham in the United Kingdom;
- Ranchi and Kolkata in India.
How to submit Letter of Inquiry?
Organizations who are interested in seeking a grant are advised to write a concept note of no more than 2 (two) pages in length. Please ensure that the concept note includes the following information:
- A summary of the goals and budget of your organization
- A description of the duration, goals and activities of the project for which you seek funding
- Location of the project and description of the target population
- Amount of the grant requested and total cost of the project
- Actual or potential co-funders
