Deadline: 1 August 2015
The IEEE Foundation is seeking grant applications for projects that address IEEE’s mission to “enable IEEE programs that enhance technology access, literacy, and education”.
For 2015, the IEEE Foundation Grants Program will invest approximately $400,000 to increase the understanding of technology and its critical role in meeting global challenges and improving the human condition. Grants will be awarded for projects requesting funding between US$5,000 and US$100,000.
Eligibility Criteria
The IEEE Foundation invites grant applications exclusively from IEEE organizational units. An IEEE organizational unit is a subset of the entire IEEE membership that has been formed to carry out particular educational, geographic, professional, technical, or other appropriate activities of interest and service to those who are members of that organizational unit as permitted by law. IEEE organizational units include sections, regions, societies, affinity groups, student branches, and major boards.
