Save Our Seas is seeking applications for its Small Grants dedicated to early career scientists focused on original and innovative start-up projects, the grant presents early career scientists, conservationists or educators with an opportunity to prove themselves.
Save Our Seas Small Grants targets local projects conducted by local project leaders. Whether or not the project is part of a larger project, SOSF Small Grants are for specific and finite projects. The Save Our Seas Foundation funds and supports research, conservation and education projects worldwide, focusing primarily on charismatic threatened wildlife and their habitats.
Funding Information
Average 5,000 USD will be given for 12- to 18-month
Eligibility Criteria
- Funding is awarded for only one financial year.
- The application form is only available in English and must be completed in English to be eligible for consideration.
- The Foundation does not support the annual salaries (full-time or part-time) of researchers or of other individuals working on projects.
- Joint funding/Co-funding of a project by SOSF with another funding agency is welcomed, but not essential.
- The Foundation does not support publication-associated costs through regular funding.
