Are you interested in applying for a grant to attend an aerospace conference or workshop in 2016? Women in Aerospace-Europe(WIA-Europe) is inviting applicants for its 2016 (1st semester) Grants Programme to encourage and support upcoming talents of young professionals and students.
WIA-Europe is passionate about expanding women’s opportunities for leadership and increasing their visibility in the aerospace sector. It believes in the importance of recognizing achievement and celebrating individuals who strive towards their goals.
WIA-Europe is the platform for high level connections to the aerospace world, in Europe and worldwide and its goal is to build their members’ careers through their network and is to enable their members to fully realise their potential. To help them do this, they regularly organize training workshops and seminars on a wide variety of topics, with skilled and experienced trainers.
WIA-Europe envisions a world where Europeans collaboratively created an aerospace sector with an inclusive representation.
Grants Information
- The programme provides grants of €500 to cover attendance at aerospace workshops and conferences and is intended to support new and young colleagues with their first experiences in presenting a paper in an international context.
- Successful applicants will also win a year-long free membership to WIA-Europe for the following year.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should be a member of WIA-Europe in order to apply for the grant.
