Austrian Development Cooperation (ADC) provides various cofinancing instruments in its collaboration with NGOs, drawing on the broad range of Austrian organisations with their diverse capacities and activities. To be eligible for assistance, the applicant organisation must have its registered office in Austria, be thus established in civil society and cooperate with a local project partner. The projects and programmes are based on the NGO’s own initiatives and are directed at meeting the actual needs of the target groups in developing countries. The resources the NGO’s are required to contribute differ depending on funding instrument and project country.
