Deadline: 20 September 2015
The TED 2016 Fellowship program is seeking applicants to find a new class of extraordinary thinkers and doers.
TED is a global community, welcoming people from every discipline and culture who seek a deeper understanding of the world. It is a nonprofit devoted to spreading ideas, usually in the form of short, powerful talks (18 minutes or less). TED began in 1984 as a conference where Technology, Entertainment and Design converged, and today covers almost all topics — from science to business to global issues — in more than 100 languages.
TED Fellows are selected by the program staff, with extensive reference checking and consultation with experts across all fields. Selections are made by the group as a whole, not by individuals.
Eligibility Criteria
- Anyone over the age of 18 is eligible to apply.
- While TED is focusing on those who originate within their five target regions — Africa, the Asia/Pacific region, the Caribbean, Latin America, the Middle East –it encourages individuals from all around the world to apply.
