Deutsche Bank supports projects and programs worldwide to enable societies to build social capital. The Bank has identified five pillars to support: Sustainability, Corporate Volunteering, Art, Education, and Social Investments. Its work is done through regional units and endowed foundations where the bank operates. Deutsche Bank Middle East Foundation: Currently, this Foundation supports various programs including PACES (Palestine Association for the Children Encouragement of Sports), Bader Young Entrepreneurs Program (Lebanon), the Dubai Concert Committee; the Emeritas Environmental Group, and the Emeritas Wildlife Society. Deutsche Bank South Africa Foundation: The Bank’s South Africa Foundation focuses on projects that support the environment, society, sustainable business, and the people of South Africa. Projects include supporting 18 programs to improve education, aid to the most vulnerable and disadvantaged populations, environmental education, and cultural diversity through art and music.
