The Institute of International Education provides WeTech Seed Fund for Women + Girls in Computer Science. Emerging networks, organizations, social enterprises as well as individual champions already taking impressive steps to support women and girls in computer science are provided small grants to increase the access for women and girls to computer science related training, jobs and leadership roles.
The WeTech’s Seed Fund for Women + Girls in Computer Science is sponsored by Google. Currently, the WeTech Programs are being conducted in Cameroon, Ghana, Kenya, Liberia, Nigeria, Republic of Congo, Rwanda, South Africa, Tunisia, Uganda, and Zambia.

- Virtual Education Platform
- Others – any projects that increase access for women and girls to computer science related training, jobs and leadership roles
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants can be emerging networks, organizations, social enterprises as well as individual champions already taking steps to support women and girls.
- Applications should be made for projects to increase the access of women and girls in computer science.
