Project Inspire 2015 will open for NGOs benefiting Girls and Women
Call will be made in Early 2015 for project submission by mid 2015
Project Inspire: 5 Minutes to Change the World is one of the most awaited funding opportunity for 2015. The Singapore Committee for UN Women and the MasterCard Initiative open the grant opportunity for youth between 18-35 years of age anywhere from the globe to submit their inspiring project ideas. These projects must be aimed at benefiting women and girls in select regions.
Interested eligible applicants, who may belong to non-government organization or social business should prepare maximum five-minutes video pitch on the project they want to implement with USD 25,000.
10 Finalist teams will be chosen and flown to Singapore to prepare the 5-minute pitch and present among the panel of judges. Project can be submitted as an individual or a team of up to three. The team leader must be between the ages 18-35 who can commit to travel to Singapore and present during the whole duration if chosen as finalists. The project must be designed to be implemented with a budget of USD 25,000.

- Grand Prize – US$25,000
- Global Reach Award – US$10,000
- Inspirational Award – US$10,000
- People’s Choice Award to one of the finalists with maximum number of votes
Eligibility Criteria
- The project must show creativity and demonstrate the potential to make a sustainable impact on the empowerment of women.
- The project must be designed to empower disadvantaged women and girls through entrepreneurship and business literacy.
- The project must be based on an existing initiative.
- The proposed project must not propagate any political views or religious doctrines.
