As deadline for Project Inspire: 5-minutes to Change the World is approaching near, you must be working on your video project to submit for the competition- a chance to win $25,000 to implement project for empowering women and girls in the developing world.
Project Inspire is open for competition to social enterprises and non-profits, who work with women and girls in Asia-Pacific, the Middle East and/or Africa. Applications (and video) can be submitted as an individual or as a group of up to four (4) people. The organizations passionate about making a positive and lasting impact towards the empowerment of women are encouraged to come up with their existing or planned project to empower women through entrepreneurship and business literacy.
How to enter Project Inspire?
Submit an application form & a 5-minute video! The video must be uploaded in either Youtube or Vimeo and the link shared in the appropriate space in the application form.
In the application
- Introduce your project
- Indicate how many women and/or girls will benefit directly and indirectly from your project.
- Include a timeline for the project, indicating key phases relevant to your project i.e., ground preparation, pilot phase, training period, evaluation etc.
- Mention about the activities that you have planned to help reach your goal.
- Indicate the project expenses, operational costs, manpower costs, and other spending relevant to the project.
- State clearly how you measure the success of the project.
In the video pitch
- Provide answers to how you’re going to empower women, how you’ll use the $25,000 to achieve that, and how you’ll ensure the project is sustainable.
- Effectively convey that message to the judges
