The US Department of the Interior, Bureau of Land Management is accepting applications for Integrated Weed Management Program. The objective of the program is to help protect the Public Lands from encroaching noxious and invasive weeds, insuring a healthy watershed and save money that would be required to control noxious weed population if left unchecked.
The Dona Ana County Cooperative Weed Management Areas would improve and remain healthy with the management of noxious weeds across various watersheds regardless of land status.
Award Information
- Expected Number of Awards: One (1) Cooperative Agreement
- Total Funding Expected to be Awarded: NTE $100,000 or FY 2020
- Expected Individual Award Amounts: $20,000
- Anticipated Start Date: September 1, 2015
- Anticipated Period of Performance (five (5) years maximum): September 1, 2015 – September 30, 2020
