The Grassroots International supports for the protection of the human rights of small farmers and other small producers, indigenous people and women with rights to resources – the rights to land, water and food. The grant-making programs of Grassroots International are designed to provide critical support to the most vital and effective social movements in the global South.
The advocate for social justice, Grassroots International supports community-led initiatives and movements worldwide. It believes that the people most affected by the problems should pose the solutions and thus creates long-term partnerships and long-term development that would result to long-term change by supporting the small farmers, fishers, foresters and pastoralists.
