PATH is currently seeking applications from the eligible applicants for the post of Senior Program Assistant in Lusaka, Zambia.

Key Jobs Responsibilities
The Senior Program Assistant will perform the following functions-
- Provide administrative support on communications, meetings, trainings, and event coordination for all APP project related activities.
- Coordinate meetings and activities on behalf of partner initiatives, including planning meetings, maintaining contact lists, and disseminating regular updates to the group (namely the Maternal Newborn Child Health Alliance).
- Facilitate communication between Zambia APP staff and other partners, and maintain activity files, records, and documents relevant to project activities.
- Prepare materials, contracts, agendas, and distribute notices of meetings, workshops, and other programs. Take and disseminate notes as needed.
- Assist with completion of administrative forms and financial paperwork, including management of requisitions and inventories, offices supplies, furniture, and equipment.
- Perform specialized duties and responsibilities for specific project assignments such as desk reviews and data collection of policies related to maternal and newborn health. Required Skills.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have-
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in business administration, or equivalent, minimum of one year of experience working in an office setting, experience working with international organizations preferred, experience with compiling health or policy information is strongly desired.
- Ability to execute administrative tasks with attention to detail.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Intermediate knowledge of financial and contractual processes.
- Ability to work with diverse vendors and stakeholders to organize frequent meetings, workshops, and travel.
- Ability to maintain accurate records.
- Capacity to collaborate and communicate effectively with team members.
- Proficiency in working with computer software.
- Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills in English.
