World Food Programme (WFP) is currently seeking applications from the eligible applicants for the post of Business Analyst SAP Finance in Rome, Italy. The duration for the post is of 1 year.

Key Jobs Responsibilities
The Business Analyst SAP Finance will perform the following functions-
- Applying strong knowledge of business processes for supporting, maintaining and optimizing the SAP FI, PS, GM and BCS operations and provide analytical, problem solving, troubleshooting and development support to end-users, business process owners and other functional areas.
- Ensuring a quality delivery of Finance projects through developing an effective partnership with the Applications Management Team, Business Process Team and the internal business customers and leading the development of common operating practices in the overall domain.
- Understanding of developing and delivering on integration aspects between SAP FI, PS, GM and BCS and external systems, interfaces and developments.
- Leveraging business and technical expertise in SAP to identify and contribute towards strategic business requirements for developing operational and analytical reporting needs through data analysis and business modeling.
- Specialized in representing and aligning of general ledger accounting, account payable, contribution receivable, treasury and project, PSA and extra-budgetary budgeting business functions and related IT solution and therefore requires long term specialization in terms of business function, process and technical knowledge of Financial and Budgeting business function.
- Conduct needs analysis for Key Reporting requirements, design and implement the standardization of Finance, Contribution, Project and Budget data reports and queries; and maintain a Data Dictionary.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have-
- Advanced university degree or university degree in Computer Science, Engineering or other relevant field with advanced courses/training in the area of specialization/functional expertise.
- SAP Certification in the Finance and Budget domain will be an asset.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience (of which three international) and expertise in developing and/or improving SAP Finance, Contribution, Project and Budget configuration and customized solution, including.
- Support and maintenance experience.
- Experience with a minimum of one Full-cycle SAP Finance, Treasury and Public Sector project implementation.
- Proven experience in business analysis and/or project management involving SAP Finance, Treasury and Public Sector Budget software components.
- Experience in process design workshops & business case assessments, and the definition of work plans and methods to achieve operational goals.
- Experience in designing, developing and presenting Finance and Budget data reporting and strategic Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Strong understanding of financial database structure, functions and processes and experience with database tools.
- Significant experience of managing large teams of staff with somewhat varied areas of expertise.
- Knowledge of Finance and Budget Not for Profit Organization (FI-NPO and PSM) solution for UN Financial and Budgeting processing.
- Good knowledge of SAP Finance, Controlling, Project System, Grant Management and Budget Control System design and configuration.
- Functional Team Leader and/or Project Manager in SAP Financial and Budgeting implementation projects.
- Fluency in oral and written English with an intermediate knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian and Spanish) or Portuguese (one of WFP’s working languages).
