The Amnesty International (AI) is currently seeking applications from the eligible applicants for the post of Individuals Campaign Team Volunteer in London, UK. The duration of this position is of 5 months.
The Al’s global campaign is to change the lives of those suffering human rights abuses.
Key Jobs Responsibilities
The Individuals Campaign Team Volunteer will perform the following functions-
- Co-ordinate the creation and distribution of campaigning materials to Amnesty International Sections and Structures around the world.
- Gather information, collate feedback and analyses data from Amnesty International Sections and Structures about their country’s write for Rights activities.
- Respond to queries from colleagues in other teams as well as Sections and Structures around the world about Write for Rights.
- Draft communications about Write for Rights for a variety of platforms, both internal and external, and coordinate other communications tools.
- Attend team meetings, programme meetings and training sessions as appropriate.
- Assist with other administrative tasks of the Individuals Campaign Team, such as: updating databases, forwarding queries and information to appropriate teams, filing, etc.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have-
- Excellent written and spoken English essential. Ability to communicate in French/Spanish desirable, but not essential.
- Ability to analyses qualitative and quantitative data and present this information in an interesting and understandable manner.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage a workload with competing deadlines.
- Ability to collaborate well with others as well as independently and with initiative.
- IT literate and familiar with basic computer software packages, such as Microsoft Office.
- Ability to use databases to find and post information.
- Strong interest in campaigning organizations and AI’s work, some knowledge of campaigning desirable.
