The Amnesty International is currently seeking applications from the eligible applicants for the post of Fundraising Specialist based in London, UK.

Key Job Responsibilities
The Fundraising Specialist will perform the following functions-
- Provide cutting edge expertise in face-to-face fundraising to AI Sections, Structure and entities.
- Work on both strategy development and practical implementation to maximise effectiveness in AI sections to grow the total number of individual donors and therefore the global income.
- Be the focal point for all learning, skill share and training.
- Assist the Director of Global Fundraising Support and the Global Fundraising Support Manager to decide on allocation of Fundraising Investment Funds (FIF)
- Work with sections and structures to develop and perfect Amnesty International’s face-to-face programmes. This includes the provision of hands-on support in local agency selection or the recruitment, management of in-house teams and assessment of applications for FIF investment applications.
- Track the global development of face-to-face inside and outside AI, especially maintaining relationships with all key face-to-face agencies to ensure the best global, multi country and local deals.
- Ensure continuous local testing, collate learnings and apply to our programs to maximise results.
- Keep in touch with industry experts and keep track of competitor activities.
- Develop relationships with external experts and engage as relevant if workload becomes excessive.
- Advise on global investment allocation and local requests to maximise ROI on investments and global donor recruitment. Assist with creation of investment request forms.
- Create and share global resources – e.g. scripts, contracts, best practice manuals etc.
- Bring together and facilitate communications between those doing face-to-face in the global movement and external bodies
- Travel frequently sections and training seminars, workshops and Skillshares.
- Provide cutting edge expertise in face-to-face fundraising to IS regional teams, Regional Fundraising Support Managers and Mobilization Support coordinators
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have-
- Proven hands-on experience and success in planning, developing and delivering successful face-to-face fundraising programmes, identifying key success indicators and setting and justifying benchmarks for performance
- Proven experience in managing street teams, analysing and reporting on donor recruitment including long term attrition
- Proven experience in training of fundraisers, especially face-to-face teams and supervisors is an advantage
- Experience of developing long term plans for legacy fundraising programmes
- Experience of developing and using monitoring and analysis tools for fundraising or marketing activity
- Experience of managing agency and/or consultancy relationships
- It would be an advantage if the person had gained the above experience in agency and inhouse approaches as well as an understanding of legislation affecting direct dialogue marketing
- Ability and willingness to positively and proactively contribute to team dynamics and to the team achieving its goals and objectives
- Willingness and ability to undertake travel if required
- Excellent knowledge in budgeting, planning and performance management of face-to-face programs, It would also be an advantage if the person had experience of negotiating agency contracts for F2F services
