United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) is currently seeking applications from the eligible applicants for the post of Programme Assistant in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

Key Jobs Responsibilities
The Programme Assistant will perform the following functions-
- Perform day to day support of RAI and NFM programme activities, (i.e. Assist in collecting and consolidating quarterly travel plan, reports, progress updates and preparation of requisition for procurements, etc.).
- Support the supervisor and programme officers in the preparation of RAI and NFM programme, work plan and budgets.
- Check the accuracy of progress update reports from the Principal Implementing Partner (PIP) and sub-recipients (SRs) and liaise with them for any necessary corrections /additions as well as required supporting documentation.
- Assist the Programme Officers in the preparation of the consolidated RAI and NFM Progress updates and Disbursement requests (PUDR).
- Act as the focal person to archive all the necessary filing, records, hard and soft, related to the RAI and NFM programmes, including PIP and Sub-Recipients data that can easily be retrieved on request.
- Under guidance of the Programme Officers, interact with colleagues, clients, partners and PR to exchange vital information on operational issues and seek cooperation to resolve routine operational issues and process problems and refer complex issues to supervisor with recommendation of course of action.
- Organize the field visits of the Programme team to the project sites, including the related logistics and administrative matters as necessary.
- Assist in coordination with PR Finance, Procurement and M&E teams and ensure that quarterly and half-yearly programmatic and financial reports are compiled and submitted on time.
- Undertake regular field visits as required.
- Perform other relevant duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have-
- High school diploma is required.
- Bachelor or Master degree in Medical & Health Sciences, Public Health, Business Administration, Public Administration or other related field will be considered as an asset.
- High school diploma, with minimum 6 years of relevant work experience, or a bachelor degree with 3 years of relevant experience.
- Progressively experience at the national level in similar relevant position and/or direct experience in program management and working directly with clients, and operational systems with secondary level education.
- Previous experience in malaria control or similar health project/programme operations.
- Previous successful involvement with and a good knowledge of Government entities, NGOs & Civil society.
- Previous GFATM experience could be a plus.
- Fluency in English and Khmer are required.
