Briefly speaking, the Endeavour Postgraduate Awards are eligible for countries in the Asia and the Middle East and the Americas; the Endeavour VET Awards are for countries across the Asia and the Middle East, Europe and the Americas; the Endeavour Executive Awards for the Asia and the Middle East, Europe and the Americas; the Endeavour Research Fellowships for the Asia and the Middle East, Europe and the Americas; the Endeavour Cheung Kong Research Fellowships for China (including Hong Kong and Macau SARs), India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam; and the Endeavour Europe Awards for the European Union Member States.
The selection criteria for different fellowships and awards under the Endeavour Awards are:
Endeavour Postgraduate, Endeavour Research Fellowships and Endeavour Europe Awards
- a record of high‐level academic achievement in the applicant’s chosen field of study;
- a well defined study or research program;
- a proposal that is relevant to the needs and interests of Australia and the applicant’s home country;
- the applicant’s potential to foster ongoing collaboration and cooperation with Australia and potential to participate at a high level in the academic or wider community in their home country on return from Australia, and
- outstanding community service or civic participation that has benefited your community
