Submission Process
Applications must be submitted online to http://www.wise-qatar.org/en/submissions on the official application form also available from http://www.wise-qatar.org. All applications should be uploaded using the filename “firstname-surname.doc”.
A letter of endorsement from the head of the applicant’s organisation or institution must accompany all applications.
The language of applications for the “World Innovation Summit for Education Awards 2010” is English.
In the event of failure of online applications due to exceptional circumstances, applicants should request a special dispensation decision from Qatar Foundation allowing them to post hard copies of their applications to the postal address which will be provided.
Applications not submitted on the official application form, incomplete applications or applications received after the deadline below will be deemed to be ineligible and will not be considered.
Time Schedule
The deadline to submit applications is 15 July 2010, 23.59 GMT.
All eligible applications will be reviewed by a distinguished Pre-Jury. Thirty finalists will be invited to submit a more detailed application on a separate application form that will be sent to them.
The pre-selection of the 30 finalists will be announced during August 2010.
An International Jury will review all the 30 full proposals of the finalists.
The prize awards ceremony will take place on 8 December 2010 in Doha, Qatar.
