Potsdam University of Applied Sciences, Germany is inviting applications to attend five days workshop (October 21-25, 2015) on capacity building for conflict resolution in Crisis Situation. In this workshop applicants will learn Methods of Conflict Resolution / Mediation, and integrating Cultural Elements in groups engaging in Peaceful Civil Actions and Crisis Prevention.
Workshop Goals
- Build a nationwide and inter-regional network of experts for exchange and support with peers from Moldova, Georgia and Armenia.
- Integrate the conflict resolution methods into the structures and networks of Moldova, Armenia and Georgia especially in the areas of politics, economy, culture and civil society.
- Make consensus decision making available to a critical mass of key actors to enable quick response to violence .
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be from Moldova, Armenia and Georgia.
- Applicants are from Political and Public Institutions, Security Sector, Civil Society or Cultural Organisations and the Private Sector.
- Applicants must be engaged in civil society or a non-governmental organization.
- Applicants must have proficiency in English language.
