Eligible applicants from New Zealand are invited to apply for Academic Excellence Scholarships Program in the field of Hospitality and Tourism offered by Faculty of Culture and Society of Auckland University of Technology. The goal of this program is to to support high achieving students into undergraduate degree level study. Scholarship ill cover full tuition and learner services levy fee for full-time study.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be NZ citizens or permanent residents.
- Applicants must be full-time students who have been accepted on to an undergraduate degree programme in the School of Hospitality and Tourism: Bachelor of International Hospitality Management, Bachelor of International Tourism Management, Bachelor of Arts (Event Management) Bachelor of Arts (Culinary Arts). The scholarship is awarded on the basis of academic excellence and leadership qualities.
- Previous recipients of this scholarship are not eligible to apply.
Application Process
- Application requirements – application is through the AUT online application portal available from the link above. Applicants are asked to upload:
- Academic transcripts for all tertiary study completed at an institution other than AUT
- A two page Curriculum vitae outlining any leadership positions and sporting, cultural and community involvement.
