The Course on Facilitating multi-stakeholder processes and social learning will be organized from 2 – 20 September 2013 in Wageningen, The Netherlands. The course is suitable for project or programme managers, policy makers, consultants, researchers, NGO staff, community leaders, private sector representatives and postgraduate students.
The course will provide you with state-of-the-art knowledge and skills for designing and facilitating multi-stakeholder and social learning processes. Upon completion of the course you will:
- have a good understanding of different types of multi-stakeholder processes and the linkages with social change, governance, power and conflict;
- be able to use a broad range of participatory methodologies and tools in MSPs;
- have a good insight in the types of institutional change and support necessary for effective MSPs;
- be able to design and plan an extended MSP;
- be able to assess the impact of your values and personal style on your competence as a facilitator.
The training programme is organized by the Centre for Development Innovation at Wageningen University and Research Centre. Candidates from the following developing countries can apply for fellowship opportunity to participate in this course through the Nuffic – Netherlands Fellowship Programme (NFP).
