The Maastricht School of Management in the Netherlands is organizing the short course on ‘Project Identification, Development and Management’ from 16 September – 27 September 2013.
This program, that is specifically focused on (intern) national development projects, helps you develop the analytical, technical and managerial skills required to manage these complex projects effectively. With our focus on exchanging experience and best practice from real-life situations, we enable you to confidently manage all the elements of the project cycle: from project identification, formulation to implementation, monitoring & reporting and evaluation & audit. You gain a thorough understanding of the factors leading to the success or failure of a project. Through the program’s interactive approach we also help you develop the capacity to create, manage and motivate a successful project team. The program comprises of the following modules: (1) Project Management Theory and Tools, (2) Project Management Skills, (3) Project Management Experiences, and (4) Reflection and Learning.
Every year, a number of themes which are currently extremely relevant for projects in the developing world will be discussed with a variety of practitioners and experts. These theme-centered discussion sessions include making use of a variety of material and (interactive) teaching methods and participants are stimulated to share their (critical) ideas.
