The United States Agency for International Development in Dominican Republic (USAID/Dominican Republic) is accepting applications for an Assistance Agreement from organizations for funding to support an activity entitled Civil Society Action for accountable justice and security.
The goal is to improve justice system performance and accountability in prosecuting and preventing crime. Under this grant opportunity, USAID intends to provide approximately $6 – 6.4 million of total funding which is to be allocated over the 3-year period.
Eligibility Criteria
- USAID policy encourages competition in the award of grants and cooperative agreements. In response to this RFA, any Dominican-based non-governmental organizations, non-for-profit, or for-profit entities (Including NGOs, business associations, universities, and academic institutions) are eligible to apply.
- USAID encourages applications from potential new partners.
- USAID/DR also encourages the submission of joint applications between Dominican and US based organizations and encourage applications from potential new partners.
- Applicants may submit as many applications as they would like. Moreover, key personnel may also appear on more than one application.
