Since 1991, The Summit Foundation has supported organizations working to improve our world and the quality of life for its inhabitants. To achieve the mission, the Foundation focuses on empowering girls, conserving the Mesoamerican Reef and promoting sustainable cities.
Empowering Girls Program
Under this program, the fund provides grant support to local young adult leaders (aged 18-35) and their organizations in Central America to implement innovative projects related to girls’ equality and adolescent sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR). The Summit Foundation plans to invest more than $1 million in the fund over five years to support projects in Belize, Guatemala, Honduras and Quintana Roo, Mexico.
