‘Global agreements, grassroots advocacy: youth and governance in a post-2015’ is a toolkit developed jointly by Restless Development, ActionAid and Plan for young people who want to make sure their voice is heard in a post-2015 world.
The toolkit helps young person understand and raise awareness on transparency and accountability of the authorities to ensure an honest and responsive government. It helps you learn about governance, accountability, transparency, participation, post-2015 agenda and the important role of civil society organizations.
The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) is the post-2015 agenda which is set to be finalized later this year. The Secretary General Synthesis Report, part of this process, has young people “ highlighted throughout and are referred to as ‘the torch bearers of the next sustainable development agenda”
